Principals Academy Follow-up

Naples, Florida – June 28 - 29, 2004

Who:

This Academy is open to those principals who attended one of our Principals Academies in the past three years

Experience:

This year’s follow-up work is planned as a design conference emphasizing the principals’ role in designing experiences, tools, and strategies for deepening the work of school reform both within their own schools and in their districts. Principals will have an opportunity to choose from several topical strands which will serve as the interrelated threads of the conference; participants will also be expected to design some work they can use within their school or district, and have drafts of their work shared before the conclusion of the conference on Tuesday, June 29. (Therefore, it is extremely important that travel plans ensure all participants remain through the close of the conference on Tuesday.) Principals who attend will not only get the benefit of thinking and designing with like-minded colleagues, but they will also leave the conference having heard the creative thinking of colleagues from across the country.

The Academy will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 28, and will end on Tuesday, June 29, at 4 p.m.
