Who:
Superintendents who are members of the BellSouth/CLSR Superintendents Leadership Network will receive individual invitations. This initiative is a model for developing the leadership capabilities of superintendents, which has resulted in a regional network of highly committed educators who are nationally recognized for the work they have done to inform the field of educational leadership. Reform-minded superintendents from the nine southeastern states are chosen by the BellSouth Foundation to participate in this Network.
Experience:
Each institute differs, but all focus on one aspect of building system capacity and use site visits to illustrate the concept in practice outside of the field of education. The February institute is a special pre-conference presentation at AASA's Annual Conference.
